Chief Executive Officer, Aspen Global 

Samer Kassem holds a Bachelor of Business Administration-Finance, an MBA Marketing and CMA, CFM and CBM financial certifications. His experience spans over several different disciplines including Finance, Consulting, brand management, Sales, Mergers and Acquisition and Global strategy. Samer moved from the USA to setup Aspen Global in Mauritius in 2008 and currently he is the Chief Executive Officer. Aspen Global runs the global pharmaceutical business for the Aspen Group with sales in more than 150 countries. Samer will also share the role of the Mauritius office in achieving this success.

Ms Hannelie Strydom, Director, Gemini Consulting
Hannelie is a registered Psychometrist and holds a B Com Honns Degree in Industrial Psychology. She has spent the greater part of her 16 year career in setting up world class Human Resource Teams in multinational organisations, including Aspen Global. She has extensive experience in both the training and development and human resource arenas. Her experience includes the design and development of effective human resource teams, processes and training. She has worked on global projects in Europe, Middle East and Africa across different industries. Currently she is the Owner of Gemini Consulting – A HR and Training consultancy based in Port Louis.

Mr Mark Leisegang, Director, Connemara SA
Mark is an Executive Director at Connemara Consulting (Pty) Ltd – an African leadership, management and skills consultancy – whose portfolio specifically looks to drive the expansion of the Insights Learning and Development Solutions in Africa. Mark holds a BCOM Degree in Financial Management  and has worked across many sectors in his 17 year career, including banking, tourism, mining, retail and learning and development. He has spent the last six years building the Insights Solution in Africa, to the extent that Insights is now represented in over 10 African countries through various partnership arrangements. He has worked with several executive teams to formulate well rounded strategies that ensure effective realisation of goals, optimal levels of communication and sustainability.
