Description of Role & Responsibilities

  • Routing all incoming and outgoing telephone calls placed through the switchboard.
  • Attending to all overseas telephone calls (and screening calls when necessary).
  • Strong ability to comprehend, carry out and explain intricate verbal and written instructions.
  • Articulate with a congenial and clear tone of voice.
  • Speak and understand English and French fluently.
  • Strong competency with computer software and Microsoft Office.
  • Answer, transfer and direct incoming calls using a computerized database for information access.
  • Forward calls to appropriate departments and ensure that callers reach appropriate people.
  • Instruct and organize conference calls, managing bookings of all boardroom meetings.
  • Perform clerical tasks, e.g. cheque processing and filing.
  • Strong interpersonal skill and the ability to work efficiently and effectively in a team.
  • Welcome and attend to guests.
  • Manage stationery.
