The South African Chamber of Commerce in Mauritius (SACCM) successfully hosted its 11th Annual General Meeting (AGM), marking an important milestone in our efforts to strengthen bilateral trade, promote business growth, and foster relationships between Mauritius and South Africa.

The 2024 Annual Report was officially presented during the AGM, outlining the Chamber’s progress and contributions in the following areas:
•Key Events and Relationship Building: Hosting Chamber-specific events such as breakfasts, dinners, and seminars, collaborating with local chambers like AmCham, AusCham, and CCIFM, and strengthening international ties with South African Chambers worldwide.
•Promoting Bilateral Trade: Facilitating delegations and initiatives with key organizations, such as the Export Credit Insurance Corporation (ECIC), and collaborating with the South African High Commission to advance trade opportunities.
•Growing Membership and Leadership Diversity: Highlighting the continued growth of our membership base and the diverse perspectives offered by our multicultural board.
•Strategic Partnerships: Acknowledging the support of Investec, Stewards Investment Capital, ENS Africa, Sanlam, and other event sponsors for enabling the Chamber to fulfill its mission.
